Amatista: la amatista fue considerada piedra preciosa, pero, tras el descubrimiento de minas en Brasil, su rareza perdió enteros y pasó a formar parte del grupo de piedras semipreciosas. Es la variedad del cuarzo más cotizada en el mercado. Su color más apreciado es un lila violeteado, pero puede llegar a ser amarilla e incluso transparente, dependiendo de la cantidad de hierro que contenga. Su dureza en la escala de Mohs es de 7. Auralite - 23 is the name given to a chevron form of Amethyst from the Boreal forest area of Canada. It is said to contain up to 35 elements which include, Aluminium, Calcium, Copper, Gold, Iron, Lead, Magnesium, Manganese, Sodium,Sulphur and Titanium. These elements are found in Auralite - 23 as inclusions of various minerals such as Bornite, Cacoxinite, Hematite, Magnesite and Rutile, to name a few. Amethyst
